| With this debut release, ED could hardly have gotten off to a more auspicious start. Michael Neil's neoclassical music with its ecological/Biblical theme is an extraordinary achievement. I'm almost tempted to draw comparisons with the likes of Gorecki, Arvo Part and JohnTaverner etc. Neil clearly aspires to that same level of pure spiritual intensity. | A semi-autobiographical musical journey partly inspired by John Bunyan's "The Pilgrims Progress". I am convinced that if an emotional, uplifting "My Father's Son" or "The lsolation of Elements" was played on Classic FM, radio station that attracted open and receptive ears, listeners would be clamouring for more. . - Ashley Franklin 'Soundscapes', BBC Radio, Derby. |
